1. About Us

Quick GP Access is provided by MTZMS Limited (registered in England and Wales, company number 15084641). We are registered with the CQC, Location ID 1-29742673051.

Registered Address: Rosehill Business Centre, Room 20, Normanton Road, Derby, DE23 6RH
Email: admin@quickgpaccess.co.uk
Website: https://quickgpaccess.co.uk

Clinical assessments are performed by a GMC-registered GP. A secure phone or video call may be arranged if further clinical clarification is needed; we retain relevant clinical notes rather than call recordings.

2. Emergency Warning

Quick GP Access is NOT an emergency service.

  • For life-threatening emergencies: Call 999 or go to A&E immediately
  • For urgent medical advice: Call NHS 111
  • For ongoing medical care: Contact your registered NHS GP

Do not use this service if you require immediate medical attention.

3. Our Service

3.1 What We Provide

Quick GP Access provides:

  • Private sick notes (medical certificates about fitness for work)
  • Pregnancy confirmation letters
  • Fit-to-fly letters
  • University or education-related letters
  • Holiday or travel documentation
  • Travel-with-medication letters
  • Private referral letters
  • Other administrative medical letters

All letters are issued based on clinical review of evidence provided by the patient by a GMC-registered doctor.

3.2 What We Do Not Provide

Quick GP Access does NOT provide:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Prescriptions or medication
  • Diagnosis of new conditions
  • Ongoing clinical management
  • Face-to-face consultations
  • NHS specialist referrals
  • Mental health crisis support

3.3 Service Limitations

  • All assessments are conducted remotely based on information you provide
  • No physical examination is conducted
  • We may decline requests where insufficient evidence is provided
  • Some conditions cannot be safely assessed remotely
  • We are not a substitute for your NHS GP or regular medical care

4. Eligibility

To use Quick GP Access you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be resident in the United Kingdom
  • Have a valid form of photographic ID
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Not require emergency medical care

5. Identity Verification

5.1 Requirement

Our preferred identity check uses Stripe Identity: you photograph your photographic ID and take a live selfie, following the on-screen instructions. This helps us confirm that you are the person named on the ID.

If a disability, device limitation or difficulty with the automated check means you need an accessible alternative, securely upload a selfie showing your face while you hold your photographic ID, with the ID visible and readable. The GP may then arrange a short video call to confirm your identity. Please use the secure identity-check route; do not send ID documents or selfies by email. Identity checks must be completed before the medical questionnaire. Accepted documents are confirmed in the verification journey; examples include:

  • UK Passport
  • UK Driving Licence
  • National Identity Card

5.2 Verification Process

  • Stripe Identity compares your live selfie with your photographic ID. If you need the accessible alternative, the GP reviews your securely uploaded selfie showing you holding your photographic ID and may arrange a short video call to confirm your identity. Quick GP Access records the verification method and outcome
  • If you need help with the identity check, contact us. We cannot proceed with a clinical assessment until identity has been verified
  • Suspected fraudulent ID may be reported where appropriate and lawful

5.3 Purpose

Identity verification is required to:

  • Help protect patients and prevent impersonation and identity theft
  • Ensure patient safety
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that clinical assessments and medical letters relate to the right person

6. Patient Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Complete the Stripe Identity check or the accessible alternative with genuine photographic identification
  • Not misrepresent your medical condition or circumstances
  • Not use the service for fraudulent purposes
  • Not attempt to obtain documentation you are not entitled to
  • Seek emergency care if you have urgent medical needs
  • Contact your NHS GP for ongoing medical management
  • Use medical letters only for their intended lawful purpose

Misrepresentation: Providing false information to obtain medical documentation is a serious matter and may constitute fraud. We reserve the right to report suspected fraud to appropriate authorities.

7. Consent

7.1 Informed Consent

By submitting a request, you confirm:

  • You understand the service is based on information you provide
  • You understand the limitations of remote clinical assessment
  • You consent to a GMC-registered doctor reviewing your information
  • You consent to us contacting your NHS GP if clinically necessary
  • You consent to your information being stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy

7.2 Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at admin@quickgpaccess.co.uk. Withdrawal of consent means we cannot process your request.

8. Clinical Decisions

8.1 Our Right to Decline

We reserve the right to decline any request where:

  • Insufficient clinical evidence is provided
  • The request is clinically inappropriate for remote assessment
  • We have safeguarding concerns
  • The condition requires face-to-face examination
  • Issuing the letter would not be in your best interests
  • We suspect fraud or misrepresentation
  • The request falls outside our scope of service

8.2 Clinical Independence

All clinical decisions are made independently by Dr Muhammad Zarif in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice. Payment of fees does not guarantee issuance of a medical letter.

8.3 Scope of Assessment

Assessments use the information you provide and any further evidence obtained appropriately. Tell us about relevant changes or errors. The GP decides whether the available evidence is sufficient and whether a remote assessment is suitable.

9. Fees And Payment

9.1 Pricing

Medical letters cost £39.99 per assessment. General and pregnancy fit-to-fly certificates cost £49.99 per assessment. Custom medical letter prices vary by type of letter and are determined after clinician review. The fee includes review, a phone or video call if needed for the assessment, and a signed PDF where clinically appropriate. General enquiries about custom letters are free; the price of a custom medical letter is determined after clinician review, as it depends on the type of letter and the work involved.

9.2 Payment

  • Payment is required before clinical review begins
  • Payment is processed securely through our payment provider
  • You will receive a receipt by email

9.3 Refund Policy

If no letter is issued, you will receive a full refund of the assessment fee, including where your request is declined after clinical review. Payment does not guarantee a letter. For refund enquiries, email admin@quickgpaccess.co.uk.

10. Delivery Of Letters

10.1 Delivery Method

Approved medical letters are delivered electronically. We will email instructions for receiving or accessing your letter.

10.2 Timeframes

  • We aim to review requests promptly. Further information or a consultation may be needed, so we cannot guarantee when a letter will be issued
  • Timeframes may vary during periods of high demand
  • We will notify you if there are unexpected delays

10.3 Format

Letters are provided in PDF format, signed by the assessing doctor with their GMC number included.

10.4 Verification

Letters can be verified by contacting us at admin@quickgpaccess.co.uk with the document reference. We verify only the information necessary for authenticity and do not disclose additional clinical details without an appropriate basis. One administrative correction is included. New information, dates or a different purpose may require another assessment; any fee is explained before you agree.

11. Data Protection

11.1 How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data to provide our service. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at quickgpaccess.co.uk/privacy-policy.

11.2 Data Retention

Clinical records are retained for 8 years after your last contact with us, in line with the NHS Records Management Code of Practice, and then securely destroyed.

11.3 Your Rights

You have rights under GDPR including access, correction, and deletion of your data. Contact admin@quickgpaccess.co.uk to exercise your rights.

12. Confidentiality

All information you provide is treated as strictly confidential. Information will only be shared:

  • With your explicit consent
  • With your NHS GP if clinically necessary (with your consent)
  • When legally required (e.g., safeguarding, court orders)
  • With CQC and other regulators as required

13. Safeguarding

We have a duty of care to all patients. If safeguarding concerns are identified during assessment, we may:

  • Contact appropriate authorities (police, social services)
  • Contact your NHS GP
  • Decline to issue the requested letter

This may occur without your consent where there is risk of serious harm.

14.3 Escalation

  • Independent advice: because Quick GP Access is a privately funded service, the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman cannot usually investigate complaints about us. Citizens Advice (0808 223 1133) can advise you on your options for taking your complaint further
  • Care Quality Commission (CQC): 03000 616161 or www.cqc.org.uk. CQC does not investigate individual complaints, but you can tell it about your experience and it uses this to monitor services
  • General Medical Council (GMC): 0161 923 6602, if you are concerned about a doctor’s fitness to practise
  • Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): 0303 123 1113, about how we handle your personal data
