Quick GP Access is a private online GP service providing clinical assessments and medical documentation, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

All clinical services are provided by GMC-registered doctors.


2. EMERGENCY WARNING

Quick GP Access is NOT an emergency service.

  • For life-threatening emergencies: Call 999 or go to A&E immediately
  • For urgent medical advice: Call NHS 111
  • For ongoing medical care: Contact your registered NHS GP

Do not use this service if you require immediate medical attention.


3. OUR SERVICE

3.1 What We Provide

Quick GP Access provides:

  • Sick notes and fit-for-work notes
  • Pregnancy confirmation letters
  • Fit-to-fly letters
  • University or education-related letters
  • Holiday or travel documentation
  • Other administrative medical letters

All letters are issued based on clinical review of evidence provided by the patient by a GMC-registered doctor.

3.2 What We Do NOT Provide

Quick GP Access does NOT provide:

  • Emergency medical care
  • Prescriptions or medication
  • Diagnosis of new conditions
  • Ongoing clinical management
  • Face-to-face consultations
  • Specialist referrals
  • Mental health crisis support

3.3 Service Limitations

  • All assessments are conducted remotely based on information you provide
  • No physical examination is conducted
  • We may decline requests where insufficient evidence is provided
  • Some conditions cannot be safely assessed remotely
  • We are not a substitute for your NHS GP or regular medical care

4. ELIGIBILITY

To use Quick GP Access you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be resident in the United Kingdom
  • Have a valid form of photographic ID
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Not require emergency medical care

5. IDENTITY VERIFICATION

5.1 Requirement

All patients must upload valid photographic ID before using our service:

  • UK Passport
  • UK Driving Licence
  • National Identity Card

5.2 Verification Process

  • Your ID will be verified by the assessing doctor before clinical review begins
  • If ID cannot be verified, your request will be declined
  • Fraudulent ID will be reported to appropriate authorities

5.3 Purpose

Identity verification is required to:

  • Prevent fraud and identity theft
  • Ensure patient safety
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Protect the integrity of medical documentation

6. PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

By using our service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Upload genuine photographic identification
  • Not misrepresent your medical condition or circumstances
  • Not use the service for fraudulent purposes
  • Not attempt to obtain documentation you are not entitled to
  • Seek emergency care if you have urgent medical needs
  • Contact your NHS GP for ongoing medical management
  • Use medical letters only for their intended lawful purpose

Misrepresentation: Providing false information to obtain medical documentation is a serious matter and may constitute fraud. We reserve the right to report suspected fraud to appropriate authorities.


7. CONSENT

7.1 Informed Consent

By submitting a request, you confirm:

  • You understand the service is based on information you provide
  • You understand the limitations of remote clinical assessment
  • You consent to a GMC-registered doctor reviewing your information
  • You consent to us contacting your NHS GP if clinically necessary
  • You consent to your information being stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy

7.2 Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at medical@quickgpaccess.co.uk. Withdrawal of consent means we cannot process your request.


8. CLINICAL DECISIONS

8.1 Our Right to Decline

We reserve the right to decline any request where:

  • Insufficient clinical evidence is provided
  • The request is clinically inappropriate for remote assessment
  • We have safeguarding concerns
  • The condition requires face-to-face examination
  • Issuing the letter would not be in your best interests
  • We suspect fraud or misrepresentation
  • The request falls outside our scope of service

8.2 Clinical Independence

All clinical decisions are made independently by our GMC-registered doctors in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice. Payment of fees does not guarantee issuance of a medical letter.

8.3 Scope of Assessment

Our assessments are based solely on information you provide. We cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by you.


9. FEES AND PAYMENT

9.1 Pricing

Our fees are clearly displayed on our website. By submitting a request, you agree to pay the applicable fee.

9.2 Payment

  • Payment is required before clinical review begins
  • Payment is processed securely through our payment provider
  • You will receive a receipt by email

9.3 Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued if:

  • We decline your request before clinical review has begun
  • We are unable to provide the service due to technical issues

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

  • Clinical review has commenced
  • Your request is declined after clinical review for clinical reasons
  • You provided incorrect or misleading information
  • You change your mind after clinical review has begun

10. DELIVERY OF LETTERS

10.1 Delivery Method

Medical letters are delivered electronically via our secure platform. You will receive a notification when your letter is ready to download.

10.2 Timeframes

  • Standard processing: Within 48-72 hours of submission
  • Timeframes may vary during periods of high demand
  • We will notify you if there are unexpected delays

10.3 Format

Letters are provided in PDF format, signed by the assessing doctor with their GMC number included.

10.4 Verification

Letters can be verified by contacting us at medical@quickgpaccess.co.uk.


11. DATA PROTECTION

11.1 How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data to provide our service. Full details are in our Privacy Policy at quickgpaccess.co.uk/privacy.

11.2 Data Retention

Clinical records are retained for 8 years in accordance with GMC guidance.

11.3 Your Rights

You have rights under GDPR including access, correction, and deletion of your data. Contact medical@quickgpaccess.co.uk to exercise your rights.


12. CONFIDENTIALITY

All information you provide is treated as strictly confidential. Information will only be shared:

  • With your explicit consent
  • With your NHS GP if clinically necessary (with your consent)
  • When legally required (e.g., safeguarding, court orders)
  • With CQC and other regulators as required

13. SAFEGUARDING

We have a duty of care to all patients. If safeguarding concerns are identified during assessment, we may:

  • Contact appropriate authorities (police, social services)
  • Contact your NHS GP
  • Decline to issue the requested letter

This may occur without your consent where there is risk of serious harm.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Consequences of inaccurate information provided by you
  • Third parties refusing to accept our letters
  • Decisions made by employers, universities, or other third parties
  • Any indirect or consequential losses

15.2 Maximum Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to the fee paid for the service.

15.3 Professional Indemnity

All doctors providing services maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance covering all regulated activities.


16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website including text, images, logos, and medical letters issued by us remain the intellectual property of Quick GP Access. Medical letters may only be used for their intended lawful purpose.


17. WEBSITE USE

17.1 Acceptable Use

You must not use our website to:

  • Submit fraudulent or misleading information
  • Attempt to obtain inappropriate medical documentation
  • Interfere with our systems or security
  • Harass or abuse staff
  • Violate any applicable laws
